My life is hilarious thanks to my freaky friends who enlighten every day of my life. They cheer me up with their happy faces and they always have some funny comments about almost everything. We often don't even have to say anything since we understand each other so well that just a look or a gesture will be enough to convey a message.

Angie is my friend since early childhood. We were in the same class and we often spent the afternoons together. She loved horses and always tried to make me interested in them and horse riding, but I played football and didn't have neither time nor interest in those "beasts".

Corrie is one of my friends from football. She was the star of the team and scored a lot of goals. At parties she was the one who made all the crazy things, like starting different competitions; who is the one who can "jumpdance" the longest?

Later I played in another team and there I met Suzy. We were the same age and both fun-loving. We spent a lot of time together both on and off the field. Life was simple in those days: Work, earn some money, spend the money and have fun.

During vacations I love to travell abroad. I love to go to the Alps in the winter. The healthy exercise from being outdoors skiing, the beautiful views and the delicious food make these trips my favourites.

During summer I spend my time on different golf courses. I love the physical and mental challenge to  get the ball in the hole with as few strikes as possible.

When I'm not at the golf course I am with my famlily and friends or maybe I'm away playing the clarinette with the world famous orchestra Spårvägen from Malmö.

Extra task: Make a comic strip about a childhood memory

1 Go to www.makebeliefscomix.com

2 You don't need to register. Start by clicking on "Enter here".

3 You click on the character/ the bubble/ the thing you want to add and it will turn up in the marked square in your comic strip. You navigate by clicking the arrows beneath the square to choose different characters et c.

4 To the left of the comic strips you find tools with which you can move, turn, resize and delete things in your strip.

5 There is no way to save your strip so you have to mail it to yourself to get a copy of the strip. You mail/print by clicking at the top to the left of the strips.

NB

It is possible to write in the bubbles in the mailed copies of the strip. If you don't have time to finish the strip in one lesson see to it that you have all the characters and all the bubbles you need. Then you can continue with the text later on.

A more advanced but also more complicated version: Pixton

1 Go to www.pixton.com

2 You need to register to use Pixton. If you are younger than 18 years you have to write down your parents' e-mail address. It's free to use Pixton but you consume points when you make a comic strip. If you want to get more points you have to do certain things, like read the rules, invite a friend, visit the Pixton-site every day. You can also buy points and that is why you have to give them your parents' e-mailif you are underaged.

3 After you have clicked "Join now" and registered you have to open your e-mail and confirm your registration before you can start.

4 Then you can start creating comic strips. My advice is to start with the ones called Quickies (Snabbt fixat), where there are readymade scenecs, bubbles et c and you can change characters and add things to make them you own.

5 In Pixton you have many possibilities to change everything from facial expressions to body positions. You have many backgrounds, props and special effects you can add.

6 In Pixton you can save and continue with a strip later on. Don't hesitate to ask your teacher to check your text before you publish it.

NB! If the computer can't finish downloading a strip you have chosen, your points aren't lost. When you log in another time you'll find these unfinished strips beneath "My comics" and "unpublished".

Fakebook: Magic Mo's Fantastic Family

After my wonderful parents got married they decided to settle in the most beautiful place on earth. I was born in Österlen, to be more exact in Ravlunda, a small town that lies among romantic rolling green hills not very far from the coast of the Baltic Sea.

My proud parents always called me their little princess and I was often dressed in pretty pink dresses and I often had a tiara on my head. My younger "prince-brother" and "princess-sister" saw me as their role model and followed in my path, i. e. they studied hard and always did what our parents told them.

My father had a very important job where he was responsible for the transport system. He worked hard and was often called away to solve emergencies.

The delightful food my mother served, both at home and in the restaurant she worked, made everyone's mouth water. I always enjoyed family dinners where we hour after hour were sitting eating good food and enjoying each other's company.

My brother is a math genius and is now working with the state finances. He handles his difficult job excellently and at the same time he always has time to take care of his loving family.

My sister has always been a very sensitive person and she always puts her family first. She has many skills and has had a lot of different jobs. She is very social and is well-liked by everyone she meets.

That was all about my perfect childhood!

Jag har läst Svenhammeds journaler av Zulmir Becevic. Boken är 602 meter lång och får fyra av fem stjärnor. Den berättar på ett roligt sätt om kulturkrockar men är ibland lite för överdriven.

Läslogg: Bokrecension

Jag har läst boken Mordet på golfklubben av Elsa Sjöholm. En burdus och provokativ medlem, Viktor Berg, hittas mördad på golfklubben och vi får genome en tillbakablick följa vad som hänt innan mordet samt sedan vad som händer därefter. Man får lära känna ett litet samhälle där folk har koll på varandra och det finns både vänskapsband samt fiender bland invånarna. Det fanns många som hade anledning att tycka illa om Viktor Berg.

Som golfspelare kände man igen sig i många saker i boken. Golf är både en fysisk men framför allt psykiskt krävande sport och många av de känslor man upplever på golfbanan beskrevs på ett inlevelsefullt sätt. Jag satt och smålog när olika irriterande situationer på golfbanan beskrevs.

Boken var aldrig riktigt spännande. Det var lågt tempo i boken och jag kände aldrig att jag måste läsa vidare för att se vad som händer. Jag tror också att många som inte spelar golf skulle ha lagt boken ifrån sig för det förekommer massor med golftermer och "regler" för hur man ska uppföra sig på en golfbana. Detta måste kännas förvirrande och störande om man inte är inne i detta.

Det var intressant att författaren hade bakat in många samtida problem i boken: ekonomiska oegentligheter med ideella styrelsemedlemmar som förskingrar föreningars pengar, grupptryck från betydelsefulla personer, politiska intriger och försök att manipulera bort obekväma personer, protester och vandalism på flyktingförläggningar samt hur utsatta familjer kämpar för att få tillvaron att gå ihop.

En annan intressant och annorlunda sak med boken är att kommissarien inte är speciellt aktiv och synlig. Det är visserligen han som i slutet lägger ihop alla lösa trådar och kommer fram till lösningen på mordgåtan, men han är ingen hjältedetektiv som utsätter sig för faror och tränger in brottslingen i ett hörn. Det finns faktiskt ett visst virvel i slutet om den lösning som presenteras är den riktiga. Vissa bitar passar fortfarande inte riktigt in i bilden och läsaren tillåts dra egna slutsatser. 

Som jag sa tidigare tror jag man måste vara golfare för att läsa denna bok. Jag tror även att boken passar vuxna läsare mest. De problem som tas upp har störst igenkänningsfaktor hos vuxna. Boken får två utav fem golfbollar av mig.
